The last winter pricks in Ostend

Winter is still struggling around a bit. Storm Ciara didn't make us small and also Dennis was no match for the Ostend spirit. We keep coming out! Through rain and wind, with sunshine and winter pricks. But for those who prefer to be well hidden, we have a lot of to do's on the list. That's how that crocus holiday flies by.

Terry and Andy, the creators of the crazy tree house books are in trouble. They were locked up in Fort Napoleon's jail, it's up to you to save them. Solving riddles, a banana fight, snakes and sharks lurking and codes cracking to get out of jail; you hear, an unforgettable afternoon for the kids. And secretly for the parents.

Playtime!

But Ostend also thinks about the seventies and eighties kids, the Pac Man generation. During the crocus holidays, the youth section of the library is converted into a real arcade gamehall. Games for young and old, but above all lots of nostalgia. Start training those thumbs.

By the way, who says that adults are no longer allowed to play? That too has been thought of. Lock yourself in one of the escape rooms of Puzzle Ostend or Timescape Escape Games and try to escape as quickly as possible. Teamwork is inevitable, logical thinking is a must. Dare to think out-of-the-box or you'll stay in the box forever!

Prefer to be outside?

Would you rather go outside? Sure, the late winter often has clean days in store. Quite a few walks and bike rides are possible in Ostend. The tourist office already organises them with a guide, the message is to book quickly. How about a trip along all the Belle Epoque buildings of our beautiful city? Or follow in the footsteps of Marvin Gaye. You take an iPod and learn all about the passage of the world famous singer in our coastal city. Sing along!

There's a new kid in town. Pretty much anyway. The ET ALORS totally revives the Beau Site of yesteryear. If you want to take a breather after a long walk on the beach or just like to sit in a cosy interior with a view of the sea, you should stop here. Comfy seats, art on the walls and above all delicious cheese or meat boards. Wine dabei, fresh shrimps on the table and you don't want to leave here.

In the meantime, completely in love with Ostend? We understand. Just give us a call and we'll start looking for the perfect place to live or stay for a second time.
