Once you get a good breath of fresh air, nowhere better than on the Belgian coast. Want to get a breath of fresh air during a walk on the beach, or enjoy yourself to the fullest on your bike? In Ostend there is fun for everyone. On the dike of Ostend you can rent bikes as well as go-karts.

By the way, did you already know that Ostend has some new residents? The seal population off our coast is slowly but surely recovering. Nothing is more fun than spotting seals during the beach walk.

Important, always stay 20 meters away from the seals and keep the dog on a leash.

There is a special collection of paintings from 1830 to the present and it is as if you are walking along the history of the Flemish coast. The reopening of Mu.ZEE was accompanied by a new interpretation of Ensor and Spilliaert museum wing with a number of unique works by Leon Spilliaert that were never shown before.
